Frequently Asked Questions
Almost all modern adult bikes use 9/16 inch (14.3mm) pedal threads. Half-inch (½") pedals are only found on children's bikes or very old bikes with one-piece cranks. If you have a standard adult bike purchased in the last 20 years, your pedals are almost certainly 9/16 inch.
Yes, the vast majority of Shimano SPD pedals are compatible, including the full XTR, XT, SLX and Deore MTB ranges, as well as road models like the Dura-Ace PD-R9100, Ultegra PD-R8000, and 105 PD-R7000. Search "Shimano" above to see all confirmed models.
Yes, all Speedplay models including the Zero, Nano, Drillium, Wahoo Powrlink Zero, Frog and Brass Knuckles are compatible. Important note: because Speedplay pedals are "lollipop" style, make sure the pedal is flat (horizontal, parallel to the ground) when placing the bike on the Bikeriser, otherwise it may slip through.
Most Crankbrothers pedals are compatible, including the full Eggbeater, Candy, Mallet, Double Shot and most Stamp ranges. The exceptions are the Stamp 1 Small, Stamp 7 and Stamp 11. On these models, the crank sits too close to the pedal body, which prevents the pedal from getting behind the Bikeriser hook.
Yes, all tested DMR pedals are compatible with the Bikeriser, including the Vault, Vault V2 Mg, Vault Max, V12, V8, V6 and V11 Composite.
Some pedals are not compatible because the crank sits too close to the pedal body, which prevents the pedal from getting behind the Bikeriser hook. Known incompatible models include the Crankbrothers Stamp 1 Small, Stamp 7 and Stamp 11; Race Face Atlas; OneUp Aluminum; Kona Wah Wah II (both versions); PowerTap P1; and Odyssey Twisted PC, Twisted Pro and Trailmix. Filter to "Not compatible" above to see the full list.
Most likely yes. The Bikeriser is designed to work with the vast majority of pedals. The main reason a pedal may not be compatible is if the crank sits too close to the pedal body, preventing it from getting behind the Bikeriser hook. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us with your pedal brand and model and we'll advise.
